Analysis of Trends in the Finfish Sector of the European Aquaculture Industry (1994 - EU FORCE Programme)

The project ended in 2001.

An extensive European partnership was brought together for this project in order to study the trends in the European finfish sector 1994-2010, and to forecast future qualifications and skills for the industry.

The project team of 14 organisations from 6 European Countries were assisted by 44 Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME's) involved in finfish farming, whose help was essential in developing the range of products and shaping future initiatives for the industry and the network.

A 'Company Audit for fish farms' booklet was also published under this programme. A specially adapted Internet version of this audit can be viewed on the website of Aqualex Multimedia Consortium Ltd

Update

The Company Audit is being further developed as part of AquaTT's DELTA project and will, in the near future, be available in Greek, Italian and Spanish. It is anticipated both print and online versions will be made available.
