AquaTT was a partner in the LEONARDO pilot project led by I.P.S.I.A. 'Dino Ugo di Marzio', Pescara, Italy, in conjunction with Profi Forma in Portugal.

The central objective was to develop teaching materials on aquaculture for use in Italian secondary schools (lycees) with students aged 15-20 years old. The materials developed are also very useful for a general introduction to Aquaculture.

MARE developed a 9-chapter manual on aquaculture using commissioned writers to complete the following chapters:
