The BETA project was led by ICBAS (Instituto Ciencias Biomedicas Abel Salazar da Univerasidade do Porto) and included partners from throughout Europe. The BETA project aimed to develop activities for the creation of structures to stimulate the co-operation of Universities -companies in Europe and Latin America. It designed and promoted the establishment of joint-research activities and joint-venture companies for training, research and consulting.
