Education Database
AQUA-TNET, a higher education forum led by AquaTT, has a mandate to
assess, compare and analyse the state of the aquaculture tertiary
education sector in Europe, and to identify key curriculum development
and assessment objectives leading to the dissemination of best practice
and a more open, transparent and innovative system of education
provision. Click here to visit the website.
Jobs and Mobility Service
The aquaculture industry has seen rapid expansion over the past
decade in many parts of Europe. With this expansion, has come the
development of new technologies, and thus the need for a highly skilled
and specialised workforce. Today, current and potential workers are
required to have recognised qualifications, to be flexible with regard
to the work functions they can carry out, and to be mobile within the
industry. AquaTT identified a clear need for mediation between job
searchers, employers, students and universities within the aquaculture
industry. This free service enables universities and employers to post
employment opportunities, training placements and MSc/ PhD positions
while simultaneously allowing students and job seekers to post their
CVs and to apply directly to these advertisements online. To visit the website please click here.
News Updates
AquaTT through its extensive network realised that essential
information on upcoming changes in the European Education Area were not
being effectively disseminated to all industry members. Thus, AquaTT
produces the free monthly electronic news service "TRAINING NEWS" to
provide updates on education and training, and the developments taking
place across Europe. If you are interesting in disseminating
information through this service please email news@aquatt.ie To view archived editions please click here.
AquaTT is not able to provide grants or bursaries. However, below you can find ways where to find them.
